# Uploading Quotes from Outlook

**How to use the BoltWise Outlook plug-in:**

1. Once installed, the BoltWise plug-in can be added from the Apps icon in Outlook ("enhance Outlook with apps").
2. Once you've added the BoltWise plug-in to Outlook, click the Apps icon, and then the BoltWise logo from any email. BoltWise will scan the email for quote or PO information in the body of the email, or as an attachment. Please note, excel files are not compatible with the Outlook plug-in.
3. Select your customer from the drop-down menu. Click "Send to BoltWise" to create a BoltWise quote.
4. Once the quote has loaded, a BoltWise interface will appear that will allow you to work on your quote in Outlook. Any progress made will appear directly in the BoltWise platform the next time you log in. 

 

**Admins:**

The Outlook plug-in needs to be downloaded and installed by an admin on your business' Outlook account for it to be available to your team.
